The Charity's

"The overall aim of the Huddersfield Town Foundation is simple - to help improve the quality of life for younge people across Huddersfield and the West Yorkshire area".

The Town Foundation was officially launched in July 2012 by its brainchild, Huddersfield Town Chairman, Dean Hoyle. The launch of the Foundation followed previous initiatives by the club designed to benefit youngsters across the community.

Hoyle, backed by local businesses and individuals alike, had already taken a cumulative total of almost 2,000 local children to the Club’s two Play-Off Final games at Manchester’s Old Trafford in May 2011, and the iconic Wembley Stadium in May 2012, to watch Huddersfield Town in action on the big stage.

"Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice cares for local families in Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield who have a child with a life shortening condition".

We support these families in many different ways to make their lives just a little bit easier. This could be by giving them a break as we take the role of carer both in the hospice and in their home, or by providing hydrotherapy, music therapy, counselling or bereavement support. The care team supports the whole family and spends time with brothers and sisters to give them the time and attention they deserve.

We are a charity that needs to raise £3.8million each year and with only 6% of this coming from government sources, the support of our community is vital.
